Single Column Addition

Some numbers can be added by setting each of the digits in the number. This is the easiest type of addition problem because it only involves one column at a time. In these problems, we will only need to push beads directly to the bar. These are the general steps you should follow:

Step 1: Enter (set) the first number

Step 2: Add (set) each digit of the second number (from left to right)

That’s all you need to do to solve simple addition calculations.
